Catering Lead

Coral Ridge Mall Chick-fil-A is currently seeking candidates for a unique opportunity to be a Catering Lead in our business, serving under our Catering Director as we provide our delicious food to family celebrations, business lunches, and area athletic events, including local high schools and the University of Iowa, which includes football games at Kinnick and all events at Carver!

The Catering Lead position offers competitive pay, a healthy workplace culture, and chances for professional development, which include the opportunity to launch a career in CFA or prepare you with the leadership tools you need to pursue your dreams.

This opportunity is 30-40 hours a week, with starting pay (during training) from $16-$18 an hour (depending on experience), and a top end up to $20 after proven ability to consistently execute expectations.

**Job includes ALL Sundays off but Saturday and evening availability are a must**

Key Duties:

  • Assist in the daily preparation and pick-up/delivery of Catering orders.
  • Including but not limited to:
  • Prepping needed sauces, utensils, and heated bags for daily orders.
  • Preparing boxed meals from start to finish
  • Support assembly of food in the Kitchen
  • Meet pick-up guests at the front counter
  • Deliver orders on-time and professionally
  • Be able to take and enter Catering orders into the POS System
  • Help with daily communication of Catering Needs
  • Support & Lead catering at Iowa athletic events (Carver & Kinnick)
  • Maintain Food Safety & Cleanliness standards
  • Oversee maintenance and organization of all Catering inventory and equipment.
  • Perform list of Down-Time duties when normal Catering duties are completed.
