Job Summary:

Diagnose and repair common electrical and plumbing issues with minimal supervision. Perform basic interior and exterior maintenance on building structures, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Supervise the M2 team and ensure tasks are completed effectively

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $30.61/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs duties as assigned by Assistant Manager of Building Maintenance.
  • May assist with Scheduling staff for appropriate coverage.
  • Assist and work with other Maintenance foremen as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC) and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on proper fuel handling and storage.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner in a safe environment.
  • Observe all requirements for the GTLC Hazard Communication Program
  • Attends training and observes all applicable OSHA and other regulatory compliance programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required by human resources and the EH&S office. Programs include, but not limited to: permit-required confined spaces; respiratory protection; blood-borne pathogens; personal protective equipment (PPE); hearing conservation; lockout- tagout; spill prevention, control, and countermeasure plan; drivers safety; and, general proper operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Obtain all appropriate PPE for each employee to ensure maximum protection.
  • Maintenance Department staff members will be assigned other technical work within the department when maintenance crises occur within the company or work in their particular technical field is temporarily or permanently reduced.
  • Perform minor electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of materials, equipment and tools required to perform routine tasks without delays.
  • Must clean up your job site and work area when finished with the assigned task.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Must possess valid driver’s license, Successful completion of MVR
  • Organizational abilities
  • Capable of handling moderately strenuous activity
  • Knowledge of Micro Main or other computerized maintenance program
  • 2 years plumbing and electrical experience
  • Basic carpentry experience
