Lead Applications Developer
The lead will be responsible for application design, development, and successful implementation of the company's business application. This role is primarily responsible for evaluating technical and functional requirements and for developing a sound application design in line with business goals. This role will provide analyses is of the current application capability and suggest required improvements to business users of the application, works closely with senior business & technology leaders, to define the best design patterns and implementation strategy.
Position Responsibilities:
Conducts requirements gathering workshops and leads the solution design process
Articulates recommendations through compelling presentations and architectural blueprint documents to a variety of audiences, including business management and experienced IT architects
Leads technical teams through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance
Creates and influences proper standards for development, governance and operational lifecycle
Identifies on-going risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures
Captures project lessons and converts them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base
Leads, trains, mentors and coaches the internal team responsible for design and architecture best practices
Improves internal processes, and promotes knowledge sharing within the team, by contributing to the knowledge base, blogs, and brown bag lunches
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
3 years of demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements
Includes 3 years of experience providing technical solutions development for on-premise and SaaS applications using JEE frameworks such as springboot , microservices.
Experiance
Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, API Management technologies and standards
Excellent command of REST standards and API design
Knowledge of Open Source architectures and/or past contributions to open source projects
Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems
Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs
Experience profiling and troubleshooting application code
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects
