Job description

Job Title: Southern California Account Executive

Reports to: VP of Growth and Engagement 

Employment: Full-Time, Exempt

 

Company Summary:

 

StationMD is a telehealth company dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). All StationMD clinicians are board-certified and specially trained to treat individuals with I/DD. Clinicians are available 24/7 via telemedicine for urgent and non-urgent medical matters. StationMD also offers scheduled psychiatry visits for individuals with I/DD. In providing this suite of services, StationMD enables individuals with I/DD faster access to high-quality care and substantially reduces unnecessary medical costs.

Position Summary:

 

This position will serve as an Account Executive responsible for managing StationMD’s existing accounts as assigned and delivering on superior management of the existing scope of work as well as growing into new business. Daily activities will include managing strategic executive contacts for designated accounts, managing existing expectations and service delivery levels on current services, identifying new service opportunities per account, engagement/education to increase waiver sign ups, and supporting the Growth Team in registering net new and partner generated sales activities. This position will work directly with potential or existing clients as well as StationMD’s internal staff, including but not limited to, Growth, Operations, and Leadership to align efforts and communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key leader on StationMD’s Team with direct responsibility for delivery of StationMD’s financial and strategic goals
  • Manage strategic accounts through initial design, onboarding, client advocacy, and growth of programs and services including but not limited to assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalation and training when needed
  • Lead account management activities that are directed at achieving StationMD’s sales, profitability, cash flow targets, and business goals for assigned accounts
  • Drive account management outcomes ultimately resulting in additional scope of service per client and strong renewal rates with higher Total Contract Value per client including partnering with Member Relations Specialists to increase overall utilization of services for all accounts
  • Strategically engage to increase waiver sign-ups for StationMD services where applicable
  • Support designated new sales efforts by assisting in net new sales opportunities, partnering with the VP of Growth and Engagement on moving prospects along the sales pipeline, delivering sales materials and information as necessary, and supporting new sales activities when needed
  • Support partnership sales activities including connecting with all StationMD’s strategic partners and supporting the VP of Growth and Engagemen in following-up with all partner sales opportunities as needed
  • Utilize Salesforce for account management sales activities, business processes/workflows as well as create standardized reports, manage scorecards, targeting, market analytics, prospecting, and ad-hoc reports in order to grow current accounts
  • Serve as a partner to Account Executives, Medical Team, and Operations to help maintain current contractual obligations for current accounts as well as provide input into potential growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to create and deliver client-facing reports that clearly identify contractually obligated goals, objectives, and value as well as develop routine meeting cadence
  • Act as liaison to marketing to support StationMD’s go-to-market activities including development of use cases, white papers, demos and reports
  • Actively support and promote the company’s core values and objectives through all interactions
  • Up to 30% travel
Qualifications:

Education/Certification

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Masters preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales, account management; preferably in I/DD

Qualifications/Requirements

 

  • Live in Los Angeles or San Diego

  • Must have access to the internet
  • Ability to identify needs of potential clients and offer company-based solutions to provide a positive ROI
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including implementation best practices, systems analysis procedures, project techniques, and practices
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret contract language
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus
