Arrowhead Family and Marriage Consulting LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Telehealth Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our innovative team. This role is fully remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to reach clients across Chicago and beyond. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team of professionals working to integrate mental health and primary care. The telehealth setting provides the flexibility needed to maintain a healthy work-life balance while ensuring high standards of patient care from the comfort of your own home.

• Conduct patient intakes that focus on comprehensive diagnostic and functional evaluations, making informed recommendations to enhance treatment goals.
• Provide brief, solution-focused interventions for clients experiencing mental health challenges, enabling them to navigate their problems effectively.
• Collaborate with primary care providers to identify patients' mental health needs, determining when to refer them to specialized mental health facilities.
• Regularly follow up with patients to monitor their progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Develop and implement relapse prevention strategies to help clients maintain stability and resilience in their recovery journey.
• Identify at-risk patients and implement proactive measures to avert deterioration of their mental health conditions.
• Coordinate health services in relation to behavioral health needs, effectively linking patients to various treatment providers as necessary.
• Document clients' treatment plans and progress accurately, ensuring that all information is current and accessible for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate clients on self-management skills and develop individualized strategies to empower them in their treatment and recovery.
• Consult with clinic management regarding behavioral health services and make recommendations for program evaluation measures to ensure quality care.
• Offer insights and support to patients concerning complying with medical treatments, particularly in managing medication side effects.
• Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and carry out additional duties as assigned.

You'll primarily serve a diverse patient population across the Greater Chicago area, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. The combination of our clinic's extensive services means you will often engage with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care tailored to individual needs.

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health assessment techniques, treatment planning, and a deep understanding of developmental psychopathology.
• Ability to apply various therapeutic methods including behavioral therapy, group therapy, and family therapy within a clinical setting.
• A solid understanding of DSM-IV diagnoses and psychodiagnostic methods.
• Ability to assess individual patient needs effectively, making informed decisions to enhance their care.
• Effective communication skills for building cooperative relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain thorough clinical records and prepare detailed reports.

• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to better serve our diverse community.
• Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling in a telehealth or remote setting.
• Knowledge of community resources available to patients, enhancing the ability to connect them with supplementary services.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $87,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
