Job Overview:
Full-Time
Perform product audits. Knowledge of product acceptance criteria using Control Plans, AAR's and part history. Use color meter (spectrophotometer) to evaluate and approve production parts to color standards. Perform receiving inspection of incoming parts and materials according to written instructions. Coordinate movement of materials into containment. Generate reports on defects rates as required. Audit parts from NCMR. Use traditional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges to evaluate product. Conduct dock audits. Basic working knowledge of SPC. Follow LMC Quality Management System, including relevant procedures and instructions. Must be able to work in basic PC applications such as Excel, Word, and email. Comply with LMC Export Compliance Manual.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
CQT - Certified Quality Techd
Educational Requirements:
  • Background and Four years of previous experience in a similar position.

One year of college offsets one year of experience. Previous Experience | CQT or CMI offsets two years of experience.
Specific / technical American Society for Quality Assurance (AQS) Certification in Mechanical Inspection (CMI) or Certified Quality Technician knowledge required (CRT) preferred. Proficient in the use of traditional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers and gauges. Computer literate in basic software packages.
