The studio serves clients throughout the South Florida & Central Florida area and works on a range of projects that may include municipal, commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Collaboration, precision, and attention to detail are central to the firm’s approach, from concept design through construction documentation. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas, grow their technical skills, and support high-quality project outcomes.


Role Description This full-time on-site Autocad Technician role is based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area. The Autocad Technician will prepare accurate technical and construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details, based on design direction from architects and project leads. Daily responsibilities include updating and revising drawings, organizing drawing sets, and ensuring that documentation complies with codes, standards, and project requirements. The role involves interpreting various forms of project data, coordinating with team members to clarify design intent, and supporting the production of permit and construction documents. The Autocad Technician will also assist in maintaining CAD standards and digital filing systems to ensure consistency across projects.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Technical Drawing and Drawing skills for creating precise plans, sections, elevations, and details.
  • Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills for producing and revising permit and construction documentation.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (and familiarity with other drafting or BIM tools such as Revit is a plus).
  • Knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and basic construction methods.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple drawing tasks and deadlines.
  • Bachelors degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in drafting, architecture, or a related field preferred.
