AutoCAD Drafter – Electrical/Mechanical Technician

This position requires U.S. Citizenship due to federal government contract requirements.

About the Role
We are an Electronics/Telecommunications Manufacturing Company seeking an experienced AutoCAD Electrical-Mechanical Technician. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of drafting fundamentals—including projected, detail, and section views—and knows when and how to apply them. The candidate must also be capable of using calipers to accurately measure and recreate physical components in AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings, schematics, and layouts
  • Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and field notes
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards, codes, and project requirements

  • Support design changes and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle
