Job description


We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Layout Artist to join our team in creating custom memorial headstone designs. This role blends artistry and precision to help honor loved ones through thoughtful, respectful, and visually beautiful layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and prepare headstone layouts using vector and raster design software
  • Design with sensitivity to tone, legibility, and layout balance
  • Work closely with families, sales staff, and production to finalize designs
  • Modify and prepare files for stone engraving
  • Maintain organized project files and revisions

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
  • Experience with Gerber Omega software is a strong plus
  • A strong eye for composition, typography, and visual balance
  • Ability to translate written inscriptions into elegant visual layouts
  • Comfortable working in a production-driven environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience in memorial or monument design is a plus but not required
