Job description

Family Law Attorney & Probate Attorney

Coconut Grove, FL | Contract-to-Hire | 2 Immediate Openings

A highly respected boutique law firm in Coconut Grove is seeking two experienced Florida attorneys to join its team in a temporary-to-hire capacity:

  • Family Law Attorney
  • Probate Attorney

These are excellent opportunities for self-motivated attorneys who enjoy managing cases from inception through resolution and thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a busy caseload from inception through resolution
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Prepare matters for trial and provide courtroom representation when necessary
  • Maintain accurate billing and time entry
Qualifications
  • Active member of The Florida Bar (required)
  • Minimum five (5) years of Florida Family Law or Probate experience (depending on the position)
  • Strong litigation, drafting, negotiation, and courtroom skills
  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused
