Activity Aide Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates

  • Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills required

Activity Aide Responsibilities

As an Activity Aide at Complete Care at Laurelton, you will:

  • Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs

  • Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed

  • Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate

  • Maintain accurate attendance records and activity documentation

  • Help decorate Complete Care at Laurelton for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations

  • Prepare activity materials and ensure activity spaces remain organized and inviting

  • Support community events and special programs that enhance the resident experience

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator
