Responsibilities
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for following established laundry procedures to include: sorting of linen, stain removal and "reject" procedure, washing, drying and folding laundry.
Responsibilities:
  • Sorts linen by type
  • Identifies stain type and treats accordingly
  • Loads/unloads washers and dryers
  • Keeps lint traps free of debris
  • Mends and irons linen as assigned
  • Completes daily cleaning checklists
  • Reports any maintenance concerns to management
  • Disinfects linen buggies continuously throughout the day
  • Occasionally retrieves linen from the Hotel Room Attendants

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work calmly in a faced paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Must have a positive, cheerful disposition
  • Prior professional cleaning and/or laundry experience preferred.
  • Weekends are required

Physical Requirements:
  • This position requires constant standing and forward reaching, frequent side reaching, handing and grasping are required. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Pulling and pulling an average weight of 25lbs is required. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Oasis Hotel.

  • Primarily indoor working conditions in a fast paced environment.
