Job Overview
The Laundry Technician will be responsible for washing, folding, bagging and delivering clean garments to their correct areas.
Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Stop at risk behavior of others and self
  • Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Maintain clean work area and remove soiled bags from assigned work areas
  • Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customer in a professional manner
  • Fill in during staff shortage
  • Wash, fold, bag and deliver clean garments to assigned warehouses
  • Removal and return of soiled bags for assigned work areas
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience
No education requirement 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
May be required to have a valid driver's license.
Completed all safety and task training certification.
May be required to be forklift certified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
