About the Role:

The Laundry Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of laundry equipment within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial laundry machines to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. The Laundry Mechanic will work closely with the operations team to schedule preventive maintenance and respond promptly to equipment malfunctions. By maintaining the reliability and safety of laundry machinery, this role directly supports the overall guest experience and operational productivity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of equipment performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic or technician with a focus on commercial laundry equipment or similar industrial machinery.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
