Job description

Make uptime your mission

Be the trusted face of Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution for customers across the Nashville, TN area. Dispatched directly from your home, you’ll keep commercial washers, dryers, and ironers running—so gyms, hospitals, motels, and more can keep serving their communities.

What you’ll do
  • Diagnose and repair commercial laundry equipment (on-premise and vended)
  • Install replacement parts and verify proper operation
  • Capture every detail: time, materials, mileage, and fuel
  • Set clear expectations with customers and ensure satisfaction
  • Coordinate with the service manager, parts team, and vendors to deliver accurate results
  • Care for your tools, test equipment, and company-supplied service vehicle
  • Support installation teams with equipment installs and deliveries
  • Pitch in on other tasks that keep the department efficient
What it takesEducation & experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of mechanical repair; laundry equipment experience a plus (equivalent education/training/experience considered)
  • Hands-on use of electrical meters and diagnostic/programming tools
  • Comfort with phone/email/ticketing dispatch systems (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (preferred)
Skills & strengths
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting proficiency; able to read/interpret schematics
  • Organized and detail-oriented; manage multiple jobs and deadlines independently
  • Professional communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal

Travel
  • Frequent travel within your assigned Nashville-area territory
  • Occasional overnight travel for special projects
Physical & driving requirements
  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, climb; use hands with tools and controls
  • Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently; assistive devices available for heavier loads
  • Periods of computer-based work requiring close vision and focus
  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; a company vehicle may be provided
