A day in this role
You start your morning at home in the Dallas, TX area. A dispatch ticket pings your device and you roll out in a company-supplied service vehicle, tools organized and diagnostics ready. First stop: a fitness center with a washer that won’t spin. You trace the issue using electrical testing tools, review the schematic, swap a failed component, and verify operation. Next, you’re off to a hospital to fine-tune an ironer, then a motel to troubleshoot a vended dryer. Throughout the day, you communicate clearly with customers, document your time and materials, and log mileage and fuel purchases so every detail is accurate.
By afternoon, you’re on the phone with the service manager and parts department to confirm a backordered item, then coordinating with a vendor for a programming update. Before you head home, you assist an install crew with a delivery and ensure your tools and vehicle are inspection-ready for tomorrow. If this mix of mechanical problem-solving, customer interaction, and independent fieldwork sounds ideal, you’ll fit right in with Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution.
