Job description

El Rincón de Papá is a Dominican/Latin restaurant in Hialeah looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, organized, works well under pressure, and has experience preparing Dominican, Cuban, or other Latin cuisine.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing and cooking meats, chicken, seafood, rice, beans, soups, and traditional Latin dishes
• Food preparation, cutting meats and vegetables, and maintaining prep levels
• Working the grill, fryer, and other kitchen stations as needed
• Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality and portions
• Keeping the kitchen and work stations clean and organized
• Checking inventory and communicating when products are running low
• Working efficiently during busy restaurant hours
• Helping prepare the kitchen for the following shift/day

Requirements:
• Previous restaurant kitchen experience
• Experience with Dominican, Cuban, or Latin food preferred
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Legal authorization to work in the United States required
• Full-time availability
