School Office Clerk
Qualifications:
- Proficient in keyboarding, email, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to use computer based applications for record keeping.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of office equipment (computer, fax, copier)
- Previous experience working in an office.
- High School diploma.
- Successful screening through the district Human Resource employment process.

Job Goal:
To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Major emphasis is maintaining both paper and computerized records.
- Able to organize, proofread, and type correspondence, reports, and other written communications accurately.
- Maintain all financial records relating to school account.
- Prepare, receive, distribute and file requisitions for supplies.
- Manage payroll forms for teachers, substitutes, aides and custodians.
- Manage all aspects of student transfers and registrations.
- Handle bus passes, assignments and latchkey/daycare manifests.
- Enter and update vacation, professional days, etc.
- Answer phones/intercom in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Assign tasks to office aides as necessary.
- Assist Principal and Assistant Principal as needed.
Compensation: As per GTSPA Contract ($31,097 - $47,602 per year. Final compensation will be based on school district experience and qualifications.)

Terms of Employment: 12 Months
Vacation: As per current district vacation policy.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy of Evaluation of Personnel.
