Job description

At Last Call, we help build a world where access to information is equitable and easy. Our product managers help lead complex digital services by turning ambiguity, competing priorities, and delivery constraints into clear decisions teams can act on.
You will partner closely with clients, engineers, designers, vendors, and client stakeholders to own the delivery side of the product. You will clarify scope, surface risks early, manage dependencies, protect team focus, and create the decision paths needed for the work to land as intended. You will embed deeply in the project in order to anticipate problems, reduce last-minute churn, and help the team move through pressure with clarity and momentum.
Requirements
This role is a good fit if you:
  • Have strong product instincts and can make and defend good decisions with incomplete information
  • Know how to build trust with clients while leading difficult conversations about scope, risk, budget, timeline, and trade-offs
  • Can turn complex or competing requirements into manageable work without losing sight of the outcome
  • Know how to protect delivery commitments by surfacing risks early, creating clear decision paths, and managing late-breaking requests before they derail the roadmap
  • Have worked on distributed teams and know how to protect focus, maintain momentum, and coach others through ambiguity

Important information:
This role is for a current long-term state government project which is already in progress. Final selection is dependent on the state's approval of the candidate.
Benefits
What we offer:
  • Salary: $120,000-140,000
  • Full benefits: health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible PTO
  • Professional development and work from home funds
  • Work from anywhere in the U.S.

This role is represented by a union. Terms and conditions of employment may change accordingly.
We hire based on your responses, not your resume format. Apply with a brief application and questionnaire (enter Job ID 87). In responding to the questionnaire, please do not use AI.
