Northeastern Rural Health Clinics, located in Susanville, California is currently seeking a highly qualified Family Practice/OB Physician interested in working on a Full-Time Time Basis. About Our Clinic

Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is located in Susanville, California next door to Banner Lassen Medical Center. NRHC is a 501(c) (3), Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of people in the community. NRHC is the largest provider of outpatient care to Lassen County. NRHC serves residents of Lassen, Plumas and Modoc County, with a population of approximately 37,125, with clinics in Susanville and Westwood. NRHC has been an important part of the areaโ€™s healthcare system for over 40 years, providing comprehensive healthcare services.

Education & Experience

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certification
  • California Medical License
  • Passion for serving underserved patients
  • Doctorate of Family Medicine
  • Board certified or Board eligible
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California
  • Current DEA registration
  • Experience with newborn circumcision is desirable
  • Current BLS and ACLS certificate
  • Must meet current medical continuing education requirements, at all times
  • Must possess current valid driver license and vehicle liability insurance
