Location: Santa Fe, NM

Job Summary: 

Rollin’ Paws Veterinary Clinic is a General Practice offering medical care for small animals, exotics, and small farm animals. We offer a variety of services including but not limited to Wellness/ Illness / and Injury, Surgery, Ultrasound, Laser Therapy, and Health Certificates. We are a fun group that strives to provide quality medical care to our patients and education to our clients, while maintaining a work-life balance. Responsibilities: 

  • Provide veterinary care to small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries 

  • Conduct examinations, take medical histories, and develop treatment plans for patients 

  • Perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide after-care instructions to clients 

  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients and their pets, providing educational resources and support 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine, and participate in continuing education and training 

  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care and services 

Requirements: 

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution 

  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Mexico or willing to acquire 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues 

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask 

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software 

Work Environment: 

  • Work in a mobile veterinary clinic, traveling to client's homes or farms to provide care (optional)

  • Work in our hospital to provide quality medical care  

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities 

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing
