Shape precision parts with Mitsubishi CNC laser technology

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Laser Operator on behalf of our client in Charlotte, NC. Step into a hands-on role where accuracy, safety, and teamwork come together to keep production moving.

Compensation & Schedule: $20/hr. Second shift, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM. Must be able to train on first shift.

A day in the life

You arrive, review the production schedule, and power up the Mitsubishi CNC laser. After confirming your setup and calibrations, you load material, call up the correct program, and begin precise cutting. Throughout the shift, you read blueprints and technical drawings, verify part specs, and check features using calipers and micrometers. When the line needs a hand, you jump in with basic fabrication and assembly tasks using hand tools. You document quality checks, keep your area spotless, and collaborate with teammates to hit deadlines. If the laser throws a fault, you help troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance to get back on track quickly.
