At StrataTech, we are zealous advocates of positive and sustainable life change through skilled trades education. We are laser focused on student success by focusing on organizational and operational improvements, a dedication to excellence in training programs, innovation and technology aligning industry transformations, and a culture built on human compassion, care, and service. Together, we are on fire to inspire and collectively strive to make a true impact in the lives of others. Collectively, our organizational core values are focused on promoting an incredible work environment, with genuine and authentic people, which is both challenging and fun, while focused on serving the needs of others. Together, we are united with the desire to make a positive impact in the lives we touch and in the communities we serve.
Challenging and Fun:
Challenging and fun describes our culture at StrataTech. We cultivate an environment in which our faculty, staff, and students feel joy in asking questions, challenging the status quo, and always innovating and exploring new horizons. With a forward-thinking mentality and an energizing spirit, together we find fun in every challenge.
Creating an Incredible Work Environment:
StrataTech Education Group and our schools, Tulsa Welding School, and The Refrigeration School Inc, exist to change people's lives and create opportunities that empower them to build a life they're proud of - for themselves, their families, and their communities. This applies as much to students as it does to faculty and staff. We are unified in our commitment to change lives through a collaborative, inclusive community that encourages excellence within each and every one of us.
We value diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), recognizing the importance of creating a culture that embraces and celebrates individuals from all backgrounds and perspectives. This commitment further strengthens our mission to change lives and build a vibrant community.
Genuine People:
We are all, individually, genuine people. As a unifying value, this means StrataTech is a space that actively encourages and celebrates each individual's authentic self. We care about each other's growth, both personally and professionally, and celebrate it, fostering genuine, authentic relationships based on honesty, accountability, respect, and being of service to one another.
We hire genuine people and encourage them to bring their whole selves to work or the classroom every day. We have built a culture of kindness and support that helps people feel comfortable being themselves, confident about what they contribute, championed in taking risks or trying new things, and joyful about showing up.
Force for Good:
StrataTech is a force for good in the world by creating opportunities for people to find meaning, purpose, creativity, and financial stability. We espouse a conscious capitalist ethos that exists within our economic system but balances it with an ethical framework and the belief that life-and business-is about making a positive impact.
We strive to make a positive and sustainable impact on the lives and communities (and world) we serve by creating employment opportunities both internally and in the trades that we train students for. Everyone has the potential to positively impact the world and we communicate that to our faculty, staff, and students.
We are laser focused on student success by focusing on organizational and operational improvements, a dedication to excellence in training programs, innovation and technology aligning industry transformations, and a culture built on human compassion, care, and service. Together, we are on fire to inspire and collectively strive to make a true impact in the lives of others.
Position Summary:
We're looking for a Project Manager to be the operational backbone of our marketing team. This is the person who keeps everything moving. They're the one the team relies on to know what's due, what's blocked, and what's next. You'll own how we run work in Wrike, act as the connective interface across a cross-functional team, and manage the commitments and follow-ups that keep our agency partnerships on track and accountable.
This role reports directly to the Senior Marketing Operations Manager. It's an individual contributor position today, with a clear path to lead as the team and function grow. If you take pride in being the dependable center of gravity for a team, the person who turns ambiguity into a plan and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, this is your role.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Run the work
• Own project and work management in Wrike (or comparable platform): building and maintaining project plans, timelines, task structures, and dashboards that give the team and leadership clear visibility.
• Keep projects on schedule by tracking dependencies, flagging risks early, and driving toward deadlines rather than reporting on missed ones.
• Establish and refine the workflows, intake processes, and status rhythms that keep a busy team organized and accountable.
Be the interface across the team
• Serve as the central point of coordination across marketing disciplines, creative, digital, operations, and campus stakeholders, translating priorities into clear owners, timelines, and next steps.
• Run status meetings, stand-ups, and reviews that are tight, useful, and action-oriented.
• Anticipate cross-team needs and unblock work before it stalls, keeping information flowing in every direction.
Manage agency commitments and follow-ups
• Own the operational side of agency partner relationships: tracking scopes, deliverables, deadlines, and open items across multiple vendors.
• Hold partners accountable to their commitments and drive follow-ups to closure so nothing lingers.
• Maintain a clear, current view of what's owed, by whom, and when - and surface it proactively.
Bring order and follow-through
• Turn ambiguous requests into structured plans with clear scope, milestones, and success criteria.
• Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting that keep leadership informed without the team chasing status.
• Continuously improve how the team works - spotting friction and building lightweight process that scales.
• Own asset management, ensuring that all delivered assets are properly stored in the DAM, allowing full visibility for in-market creative
Education and Experience:
• 4-7 years of project or program management experience, ideally within marketing, creative, or agency environments.
• Hands-on expertise with a project/work management platform - Wrike strongly preferred; deep experience in a comparable tool (Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.) with willingness to master Wrike is welcome.
• A track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders without losing the thread.
• Experience coordinating with or managing external agency/vendor relationships, including tracking deliverables and driving accountability.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through - you're the person others trust to remember and close the loop.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you can hold people to commitments while keeping relationships strong.
• Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-moving environment, and the judgment to know when to escalate.
Nice to Have:
• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or comparable certification.
• Experience in education, regulated, or multi-location/multi-brand environments.
• Familiarity with marketing functions (creative production, digital/paid media, web) enough to speak the team's language.
• Interest in growing into a team lead as the function scales.
Physical Environment:
• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones and other office equipment
• Stooping, bending twisting, and reaching may be required
• Some work may be completed in classroom or shop environment
Other Duties:
Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
