Job description

Job Title: Laser OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Hartselle, AL. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring advanced laser cutting and engraving equipment used to produce high-quality metal components for demanding industries. Materials include specialty alloys such as Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium where precision and attention to detail are critical.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting and engraving machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to cut and engrave precision metal components to customer specifications.
  • Work with high-performance materials including Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other specialty alloys.
  • Verify dimensions and quality using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
  • Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Experience operating laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
