For more than 21 years, our locally owned boutique structural engineering firm has built a reputation throughout Northern Colorado on technical excellence, responsiveness, and long-standing client relationships.  Located in Old Town Fort Collins, we collaborate closely with architects, contractors, developers, and consultants to design thoughtful, practical structures that strengthen the communities where we live and work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Lead structural engineering projects from concept to construction.

·       Develop structural designs, calculations, and detailed construction documents.

·       Effectively manage design schedules and meet project deadlines.

·       Provide exceptional construction coordination by providing immediate responses and producing effective solutions throughout construction.

·       Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants through responsive communication and collaboration.

·       Conduct site visits, evaluations, and structural assessments.

·       Perform internal quality control reviews for company projects. 

·       Produce high quality work while balancing multiple projects and deadlines. 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·       Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including RISA and ENERCALC.

·       Proficiency in Revit required.

·       Expert knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.

·       Strong technical, communication, and relationship building skills.

·       Ability to independently manage projects and collaborate effectively with clients and project teams. 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·       Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering (or structural emphasis)

·       PE License required or ability to obtain Colorado licensure within a reasonable timeframe.

·       2+ years working in a structural engineering environment required.
