Essential Functions:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

 Essential Work Functions:

Prepare and maintain print media, including loading materials and ensuring proper alignment.

Operate large format finishing equipment, such as laminators, cutters, and trimmers.

Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

Troubleshoot minor issues with printing equipment and assist in routine maintenance.

Handle pre-press tasks, including organizing files, checking for quality and accuracy, and ensuring files are print-ready.

Organize and manage the print queue to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.

Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Maintain inventory of printing supplies.

Requirements

What you will bring to UCS:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or graphic design Knowledge software's is a plus.

Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with large format printing processes and equipment is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. materials and stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motions.

Basic knowledge of file preparation software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is required.

  This position may require working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Some manual labor, including lifting and moving materials up to 50lbs with assistance, is required.
