Quality Manager


Location: Columbus, Indiana

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 Depending on Experience


A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality operations at its Columbus, Indiana facility.


This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will spend time on the manufacturing floor supporting production, quality systems, suppliers, customers, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead plant quality operations and quality personnel
  • Maintain ISO quality systems and support IATF 16949 requirements
  • Manage customer, supplier, and production quality
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Oversee audits, calibration, documentation, and nonconforming materials
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with operations and manufacturing leadership


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing quality leadership experience
  • ISO quality systems experience required
  • IATF 16949 experience preferred
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with customer quality, supplier quality, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
