Job description

Customer Service Representative – Large Animal Reception (Part-Time)

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Customer Service Representative to join our Large Animal Reception team.

If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment, and have an appreciation for horses and farm animals, we'd love to hear from you. As part of our 24/7 veterinary hospital, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for clients while supporting our large animal veterinarians and staff.

Our team is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and outstanding customer service every step of the way.

What You'll Do

As a member of our reception team, you'll help ensure the day-to-day operation of the large animal service runs smoothly. Responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assisting clients with questions and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Welcoming clients and managing the check-in and check-out process
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining an organized daily schedule
  • Entering and updating client and patient records accurately
  • Preparing invoices and processing payments
  • Performing general administrative tasks, including filing, email, mail handling, and maintaining records
  • Completing and organizing required state documentation

Schedule

  • Part-time position
  • Consistent daytime hours supporting our Large Animal service

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, or a client-facing role is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Comfort working in a veterinary setting; experience with large animals is helpful but not required
  • Professional communication, appearance, and conduct
