IT Infrastructure Lifecyle Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX (On-Site)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an Infrastructure Lifecycle & Asset Management Analyst to support the Infrastructure Platforms Product Line. This role is responsible for establishing and operationalizing lifecycle management, asset governance, inventory management, and operational reporting capabilities across multiple infrastructure domains. The successful candidate will work with infrastructure engineering, operations, architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, and product management teams to improve the visibility, accountability, and management of technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain lifecycle management frameworks for infrastructure hardware, software, and platform services.
  • Establish standards and governance processes for technology lifecycle planning, supportability tracking, and refresh activities.
  • Identify lifecycle risks associated with aging, unsupported, or under-managed infrastructure assets.
  • Partner with infrastructure teams to develop remediation plans and lifecycle roadmaps.
  • Improve accuracy, completeness, and ownership of infrastructure asset inventories.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting for infrastructure leadership.
  • Configure and enhance platforms supporting lifecycle management and inventory governance.
  • Facilitate discussions between engineering, operations, architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, and leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies and associated hardware/software lifecycles.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: enterprise server platforms, virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, Windows Server and Active Directory, endpoint management platforms, enterprise backup and recovery platforms, or storage platforms.
  • Experience developing operational processes, governance frameworks, or lifecycle management programs.
  • Experience with infrastructure inventory, asset management, or CMDB-related initiatives.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) or industrial environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure asset management, lifecycle management, or technology refresh programs.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) and discovery platforms.
  • Working knowledge of scripting or automation technologies including PowerShell, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Power BI, Power Automate, Axonius, SolarWinds, SCCM / MECM, Lansweeper, or VMware Aria.
  • Experience working within Agile or product-based operating models.
