Job description

Title: Hardscape & Landscape Construction Team Leader Location: Rochester, NY Pay: $25-$30+ per hour (Based on Experience) Hours: Full time About the Position We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape & Landscape Construction Team Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee daily construction operations, lead a crew of skilled professionals, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for outdoor construction, strong leadership skills, and experience building exceptional hardscape and landscape projects, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew during hardscape and landscape installation projects. Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and landscape designs. Oversee the construction and installation of patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor living spaces, planting beds, and other landscape features.

Operate and maintain construction equipment, including skid steers, track loaders, excavators, and other job-site tools. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to company quality standards. Train, mentor, and support crew members to improve performance and efficiency.

Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site at all times. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and company leadership regarding project progress and any on-site needs. Qualifications Previous experience in hardscape and landscape construction required.

Leadership or crew management experience preferred. Strong understanding of hardscape materials, installation methods, and landscape construction practices. Ability to read and execute blueprints, project plans, and construction drawings.

Experience operating construction equipment and power tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
