We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Build Foreman to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and execute various landscape construction projects, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Position Summary: As the Landscape Build Foreman, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of landscape construction projects. You will lead a team of skilled workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail will contribute to the successful execution of our clients' landscaping visions.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians and laborers, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and landscape designers to understand project requirements and develop detailed plans for implementation.
  • Organize and schedule daily tasks, allocating resources and materials efficiently to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee all aspects of landscape construction, including but not limited to grading, excavation, hardscaping, planting, irrigation installation, and lighting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition and safely utilized.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to project managers, ensuring projects are completed within allocated budgets.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies in the field of landscape construction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape construction preferred, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing projects of varying complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining landscape equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
Position Salary: $19-25 hourly depending on experience
