Job description

Highlights of what our Landscape Construction Superintendent will do:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by providing technical guidance for field personnel
  • Conduct percent of completion analysis to ensure project are on budget
  • Partner with foremen to ensure materials and labor for project needs are met
  • Build relationship with clients and field personnel by conducting weekly job walks
  • Understand client needs and identify cost effective enhancements to ensure profitability
  • Communicate with onsite Superintendents to provide updates on project progress
  • Strategize how to improve project performance and exceed goals
  • Coordinate subcontracts and review scope to identify possible scope gap
  • Awareness of allocated project hours at all times and provide to Foreman

Skills & experience that are necessary will include, but not limited to:
  • At least 3 years of construction experience
  • Experience working in land development, landscape, and/or masonry/concrete trades preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and understand plans, material lists, guidelines and meet timelines
  • Must have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency, including Microsoft Excel
