Job Title: Landscaping Field Operations Manager and Estimator


Location: Twin Cities Metro Area, MN
Compensation: Up to $95,000 per year plus performance incentives
Job Type: Full Time


About the Role: We are a growing residential and commercial landscaping company in the Twin Cities area looking for a driven Field Operations Manager and Estimator. We need a leader who does more than just crunch numbers. You will be out in the field with our crews, estimating new projects, leading through on-site challenges, and ensuring our clients get exactly what they were promised.


What You Will Do:

  • Travel to job sites to accurately estimate project scope, material needs, and man hours for hardscaping and soft scaping projects.
  • Maintain a strong daily presence in the field to lead crews, assess real-time job site needs, and solve logistical challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to manage expectations for the clients, the field team, and executive management.
  • Review job site variables like grade changes and equipment access to set the crews up for success before they arrive.
  • Oversee daily equipment readiness and end of day maintenance checks.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in landscape operations management and cost estimating.
  • Strong on-site leadership skills with the ability to manage complex field logistics.
  • Excellent ability to communicate timelines and manage client expectations.
