ACCOUNT MANAGER - LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT

Overview

Midwest Landscape Industries, Inc. is a respected landscape management and installation company. Midwest Landscape Industries, Inc. specializes in delivering exceptional commercial landscape services and is part of an organization that has been growing successful companies since 2016. The company has a distinct culture that sets it apart from its competition byย challenging its employees with the empowerment to chart the companyโ€™s destiny. Due to our plans for aggressive growth the Landscape Management Division has an immediate opening for an Account Manager.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager is the main point of contact for our clients and assists the branch production team in obtaining high quality landscape services. The Account Manager is responsible for achieving revenue, profitability, and contract renewal goals through the delivery of outstanding service and strong client relationships while continuing to grow the Account Managerโ€™s book of business through new sales/business development.

ยท Monitors operation expenses by reviewing financial reports and providing avenues to improve branchโ€™s bottom line with Branch Manager and production team

ยท Communicates clientโ€™s expectations to production team

ยท Develops and maintains long-term client relationships to ensure their expectations are met and complaints are resolved throughout the cycle of their contracts

ยท Identifies job site priorities and/or coordination of job site schedules

ยท Executes landscape quality audits to provide enhancement and/or maintenance opportunities to the client and to provide feedback to the production team on quality of job sites.

ยท Provides support on collection of accounts receivables

ยท Creates client proposals, contracts, and recommendations and estimates that achieve targeted revenue goals

ยท Manage all sales activity related to the renewal of existing landscape management contracts.

ยท Involved in branch growth through sales and marketing initiatives

ยท Provides excellent organizational management, leadership and communication between client and production team

ยท Collaborates with branch manager and production team to ensure profitability goals are in alignment for subcontracted services, materials, equipment, projects, labor management, etc.

ยท Promotes high standards for customer service, safety culture and a positive team environment

ยท Assists the branch team in hiring, training, and mentoring of crew members

ยท Handles high-level conflict and provides resolutions that are beneficial to the client without negatively impacting the operation

ยท Supports and promotes company standards including company culture, company goals and objectives.

Qualifications

ยท Demonstrated ability and two years of experience managing others on the production level, including recruiting and hiring, performance evaluation and training and development.

ยท Demonstrated skill and ability in the area of sales and customer service. Must have at least two years of experience dealing directly with service customers.

ยท Ability to do takeoffs and estimate maintenance jobs.

ยท Demonstrated skill and ability managing the production of service work. At least two years of experience running more than one project at a time.

ยท Demonstrated ability and at least one year of experience selling enhancement type work and doing contract maintenance takeoffs.

ยท Demonstrated ability to design small landscape projects.

ยท Experience with, and basic knowledge of, computer operation.

ยท Two-or four-year horticultural or related degree and two years industry experience. Additional industry experience or industry certifications can substitute for non-related degree, two-year degree or no degree.

ยท Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English.

ยท A landscape professional with a positive and engaging interpersonal style.

ยท Two to five years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm.

ยท Passion for client service.

ยท Superb communication skills; knowledge of Spanish a plus.
