About Us
R&D Landscape is a growing landscape company serving Mid-Michigan with lawn maintenance, landscape construction, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and snow management services. We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to help maintain our fleet and equipment while supporting the continued growth of our operations.
Responsibilities
  •  Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles and landscape equipment. 
  •  Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, mowers, and equipment. 
  •  Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, gasoline, and electrical systems. 
  •  Maintain repair records and maintenance schedules. 
  •  Coordinate repairs and parts ordering as needed. 
  •  Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. 
  •  Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 
  •  Assist with snow equipment maintenance during winter operations. 
  •  Perform additional duties as assigned. 
Qualifications
  •  Previous mechanical repair experience required. 
  •  Experience with fleet vehicles, landscape equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, or small engines preferred. 
  •  Valid Driver's License required. 
  •  Chauffeur's License preferred. 
  •  DOT Medical Card preferred. 
  •  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. 
  •  Strong attention to detail. 
Physical Requirements
  •  Ability to lift tools, equipment, and repair components. 
  •  Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the day.
