To thrive as a Landscape Intern, you need a basic understanding of landscape design principles, horticulture, and environmental science, often supported by progress toward a degree in landscape architecture or a related field. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as basic hand-drafting and model-building skills, is typically required. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and effective communication help interns collaborate within teams and contribute innovative ideas.
