As a Market Manager for our Commercial Maintenance Division, you will provide hands-on leadership, direction, and goals for multiple branches within the designated Inland Empire Market. Responsible for the continuing success improving profitability, streamlining operations, improving sales, controlling costs, and building quality for the entire market.
*This position will be based out of our Riverside, CA.
This position will support the entire Inland Empire market, which includes: Riverside, Lake Elsinore, San Bernardino and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates should reside within the Riverside or IE area with local knowledge of the growing areas within the Inland Empire.
*Responsibilities of a MARKET MANAGER will include, but not limited to:
  • Manage the growth, quality and financial success of multiple branches while providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure the branches have a strong bench of operational substructure
  • grow, retain and renew contractual revenue
  • Analyze, track and budget financials data to ensure financial success while enhancing the market reputation
  • Develops and implements strategic market objectives
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Reviews P&L's and Financial Statements regularly
  • Hire, train, develop, and coach Branch Managers
  • Meets with key clients, maintaining high level relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Regularly visits jobs to ensure that the supervisors understand the job and track it properly, includes quality inspections
  • Works with Branches to insure most efficient use of Capital Budget while maintaining relationships with clients to accomplish the Company's mission

*SKILLS & EXPERIENCE that are necessary as a MARKET MANAGER will include, but not limited to:
  • A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years landscape maintenance experience managing multiple branch operations including employee development, sales and financial management within the landscape industry
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to interact with both clients and internal management team
  • Must be able to travel between the branches within the designated region as business dictates
