Fisher Associates is seeking a Transportation & Highway Technical Manager / Civil Engineer to provide senior-level technical leadership on highway and roadway design projects throughout Upstate New York. This role is ideal for an experienced Civil Engineer or Transportation Engineer who is passionate about transportation infrastructure, roadway design, and mentoring engineering teams.


As a Technical Manager, you will lead hands-on highway and roadway design, guide engineering staff, and ensure high-quality project delivery for clients including NYSDOT and local municipalities.

Requirements:

What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Transportation & Highway Technical Manager

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8-15 years’ experience in transportation, roadway, or highway engineering
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
  • Prior staff management preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office; MicroStation preferred
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT design standards preferred
