NatureWorks Landscape is seeking a qualified Landscape Enhancements Crew Leader!


Under the guidance of the Enhancements Field Operations Manager, you will provide our clients with exceptional enhancement project services safely, efficiently and with a high level of quality. This Enhancement Crew Leader is instrumental when it comes to driving a quality product that our clients will rave about. We want a person who loves all aspects of landscape construction, takes pride in their work, wants a company they can make a career with, and has ambition to grow professionally with NatureWorks


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Understand and execute landscape construction practices that include but are not limited to the following:
Bed prep, proper planting, mulching
Lawn prep, seed and sod installation
Drainage installation involving plumbing downspouts, Flo-Wells and other basins.
Hardscape demo, excavation, prep, an installation of cobblestone, bluestone, pavers, etc.
Manage and motivate crew to create a quality product and perform within budgeted project hours.
Review information for daily project with Enhancements Field Operations Manager and mentor crew leader, communicate to crew to help strategize the crew's task list for the day.
Load materials and equipment the afternoon prior to start date.
Communicate daily between 2:00 - 2:30 current project status with Field Operations Manager and develop a plan for completion of project and/or plan for the following day.


Required Skills / Abilities
In the field, problem solving ability.
Ability to think strategically during a project and keep crew efficient and productive.
Experience operating mini skid steer, skid steer, mini excavator and other landscape equipment.
Understanding of land elevations and layout in relation to project
Learn skills to motivate and instruct crew to execute a safe, efficient, project within budgeted hours

Education and Experience
A valid driver's license with a good driving record is a must.
Possess a DOT Medical card or be able to obtain one.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in landscape construction.
Minimum of 3 years as a team leader.
MA Hoisting License
