Job Description

  • Advise clients on New Jersey land use, zoning, and real estate matters.
  • Handle legal issues involving riparian rights, tidelands claims, waterfront development, and related regulatory matters.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate real estate agreements and transactional documents.
  • Represent clients before municipal planning boards, zoning boards, and state agencies.
  • Conduct legal research and draft opinions, applications, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Assist clients with permitting, regulatory compliance, and land development matters.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on complex real estate projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Bar license required.
  • 2+ years of land use and real estate law experience.
  • Direct knowledge of New Jersey riparian rights, tidelands, or waterfront property matters required.
  • Experience with zoning, planning board, and development matters.
  • Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating with a team.
