What Impact You'll Have

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead LAN/WAN Engineer who will provide expert design, analysis, research, and operation support to exceptionally complex networking problems and processes. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. 

What You'll be Owning

  • In this role the Lead LAN/WAN Engineer will be responsible for: 

    • Serving as a leader in the local- and wide-area networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance. 
    • Serving as a technical expert on established and ad-hoc project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs.
    • Providing insight into cutting edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities 
    • Consulting with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements, technical direction.
    • Provide deep expertise on BPG, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, SudeoWire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering.

What You Must Have

  • US Citizenship in required
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
  • High School/GED + 11 Years of experience or Associates + 9 years or Bachelors + 7 years or Masters + 5 years or PhD and 3 years.
  • IAT II, (or Industry Equivalent)
  • CCNP or CCIE (or industry equivalent)
  • Experience in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management
  • Deep knowledge of, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools
