Position Title: Lead LAN/WAN Engineer

Program: CACI ECS3

Location: Reston, VA or Washington, DC

Employment: Full-Time (W2 or 1099)

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI (Ability to Obtain CI Polygraph)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead LAN/WAN Engineer to support the CACI Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program. This role provides technical leadership for enterprise network architecture, engineering, modernization, and operations supporting a mission-critical Intelligence Community customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise LAN/WAN engineering and modernization initiatives. Provide architecture, design, implementation, and operational support for complex networks.
  • Serve as the senior technical advisor for Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NetScout, and related technologies.
  • Engineer and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, GRE, L2TP, VPNs, Spine-Leaf, and BGP Peering.
  • Develop technical documentation, engineering designs, and implementation plans. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and customer consultation.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II Certification
  • CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years (Bachelor's) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive enterprise routing, switching, and network architecture experience
