REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a MACHINE OPERATOR (ALL SHIFTS) in Winston Salem, NC
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Diagnose machine problems, respond to fault lamp, message displays and adjust machine accordingly.
  • Load materials, clear materials jams and make minor machine adjustments.
  • Perform light machine maintenance.
  • Perform machine and area cleaning as described in work instructions.
  • Perform all quality checks and test as described in work instructions.
  • Order materials, verify materials and production specifications, perform quality checks, monitor and respond to KPI data prompts, set up machine for varios product styles and classify finished product through direct interaction with advanced Manufacturing Execution System and Document Management System and other computer applications as appropiate.
  • Perform procedure and work assignments in keeping with Company safety rules and all other policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?
  • 2-5 years in a high-speed industrial production environment.
  • Three years of operator experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
  • Work Keys assessment scores: Applied Math 3, Workplace Documents or Reading for Information 3, Graphic Literacy 3, Workplace Observation 2 (preferred).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights to 25 feet
