Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services has an opportunity for a Base Services Manager in Bethesda, MD. The Base Services Manager will provide oversight of services and projects at the ICC-B facility in Bethesda, MD. This includes working closely with a diverse team of building operations and maintenance personnel, property management representatives, the facilities operations and maintenance team, the Government POC (GPOC), and various stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead a team in excess of 50 employees to operate, maintain, and service a mission critical facility and protect the end mission supported by the facility.
• Build customer trust by operating through our company values and delivering upon our commitments.
• Manage, direct, and assign the daily base services and central plant operations with both in house staff and oversight of subcontracted vendor services.
• Coordinate work schedules with the ICC-B Facilities GPOC as applicable.
• Ensure workmanship and materials conform to the appropriate industry best practices and meet federal, state, and local codes.
• Perform all work consistent with the appropriate building standards, which will be provided by the respective Facilities GPOC.
• Ensure work areas are restored to original condition.
• Provide work estimates, surveys, and facilities assessments supporting operations.
• Develop and implement a maintenance policy for tools and equipment to include but not limited to items listed in the GFP document.
• Maintain all files, records, and statistics for base services.
• Prepare a short- and long-range work plan associated with base services.
• Administer a customer satisfaction survey and provide a copy to the Facilities GPOC at each project's completion.
• Provide technical support to service areas, and assign/schedule job tasks when required in support of renovations and other projects when completed by ATLAS or non-ATLAS Project Management personnel.
Qualifications
• A Top Secret/SCI clearance with FSP
• A high school diploma or GED and 8 years of facilities experience, including 3 recent years of supervisory experience
• Strong technical and programmatic leadership skills
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and construction codes
• 1-year LEED experience/familiarity- Preferred
