Part-Time Lamp Technician
Sun Tan City - Golden Insight, LLC.
The Sun Tan City Lamp Technician position is a part time position. The primary duties of the position include reading weekly lamp change reports, and completing necessary lamp changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Read weekly lamp change reports • Work with area technicians and complete lamp changes • Report to local warehouse and load appropriate lamps • Travel to appropriate salon(s) and complete lamp changes • While at salons perform all necessary cleaning to the individual tanning bed • Log and record all lamp changes in Woven • Remove and discard all trash compiled during lamp changes • Record hours worked and travel logs into provided masters and return via email as outlined during training • Occasionally the job will require extra duties - i.e. -replacing single lamp outages, doing versa PM's, replacing accent lights, etc.
• Mileage between warehouse and salon locations will be reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate, submitted via the provided Timesheet/travel log.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications: • Well Organized • Mechanically inclined • Ability to work early is a plus • Client/Customer Awareness • Excellent communications and public relations abilities • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of all related computer applications, with strong typing skills • Accurate and attentive to detail • Self-motivated • Clean driving record • High School degree
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
• Ability to transport 8' tanning bed lamps • Dexterity of hands and fingers to complete lamp changes • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds • Flexible schedule • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel or crouch.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
