Job description

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will perform daily order pick, pack and ship functions, repacking orders as needed; conduct quality review of incoming and outgoing shipments; and follow order flow and sequencing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately pick, pack and ship customer orders, weighing and repacking orders as needed.
  • Ability to manage merchandise order variation.
  • Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to process and follow order sequence, adjusting to sequence changes.
  • Coordinate corporate quality assurance requirements for incoming and outgoing shipments including the inspection and release prescription-level products.

Work Environment: The work environment is an indoor warehouse and the employee is exposed to a temperature-controlled climate. The floors may be concrete, laminate or carpet in the warehouse and interior office. The employee must learn and follow safety protocols and is subject to random drug testing.

Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. Work hours may vary. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. The employee may be required to work overtime, holidays or weekends.

Physical and Mental Demands: Active. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Constant use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle and position products, materials, tools, equipment, pushing cart and computer systems. Must always wear safety vest. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force to move objects operating a pallet jack.

  • Experience working with warehouse fulfillment with order variations.
  • Strong attention to detail, work accuracy and problem solving.
  • Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with others.
