Job description

  • Follow company safety rules in accordance with OSHA regulations such as: Wearing PPE, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves.
  • Complete all tasks as required or assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or upper management.
  • Cross train as directed and be willing to work at any production or shipping position in the plant.
  • Ensure quality checks are done consistently.
  • Ensure coil changes and machine changeovers are done as efficiently as possible while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Always maintain a clean work area.
  • Verify each bundle tag is marked correctly for the customer order.
  • Minimize the amount of waste.
  • Responsible for keeping the coil storage area and roll-former area organized.
  • Perform all duties required of the roll-forming system.
  • Act professionally as a team player always.
  • Provide accurate documentation of all work completed.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiencies
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
  • Excellent Attendance.
