What we are looking for:
indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time SEO Specialist to improve the organic visibility, qualified traffic, and conversions of our dealership websites. The role combines technical SEO, direct CMS optimization, analytics, migration support, AI-search monitoring, and occasional source-backed website copy in a collaborative web team.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
  • Research and recommend SEO priorities for dealership websites within the strategic direction established by the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Conduct keyword, competitor, search-intent, and content-gap research to identify qualified organic-growth opportunities.
  • Translate findings into prioritized recommendations, tickets, briefs, and measurable implementation plans.
  • Coordinate with the PPC vendor on keyword focus, organic gaps, search intent, landing-page opportunities, and complementary paid and organic efforts.
  • Directly update metadata, headings, internal links, page structure, and approved on-page content through dealership CMS tools.
  • Optimize existing content for search intent, clarity, factual accuracy, and natural keyword use.
  • Occasionally write or substantially reshape website and landing-page copy using approved vehicle specifications and source materials.
  • Preserve source accuracy, OEM requirements, and brand guidance; do not introduce unsupported vehicle or offer claims.
  • Apply content-level accessibility practices, including logical heading structure, useful alt-text recommendations, and descriptive links.
  • Audit crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, broken links, redirects, duplicate content, canonicals, XML sitemaps, robots directives, schema, and related technical health signals.
  • Implement approved low-risk changes directly when skill, access, platform capability, and change risk permit.
  • Define requirements and create tickets for code-, template-, server-, or integration-level work that requires a Web Developer or vendor.
  • Validate technical SEO changes before and after release and document unresolved risks.
  • Own the SEO migration and launch checklist, including URL inventory, redirect mapping, metadata and content preservation, crawl and indexation checks, analytics verification, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Provide SEO readiness findings and signoff recommendations in coordination with the Senior Website Specialist; the Digital Marketing Manager retains the final go-live decision.
  • Monitor new launches and migrations for material traffic, ranking, crawl, or conversion issues and escalate promptly.
  • Set local-search optimization recommendations and listing-health priorities while the Digital Marketing Specialist owns daily listing operations and factual updates.
  • Use Profound and other approved sources to monitor visibility in AI-powered search and answer experiences.
  • Identify content, entity, and technical gaps that may affect AI-search discoverability without promising guaranteed placement or citations.
  • Use Semrush, Profound, GA4, Google Search Console, and approved tools to monitor organic visibility, qualified traffic, conversions, and technical health.
  • Prepare monthly reports that explain performance, likely drivers, completed work, risks, and recommended next actions.
  • Escalate material traffic drops, indexing failures, manual actions, widespread crawl errors, migration problems, and significant algorithm-impact signals without waiting for the monthly report.

The opportunity is for you if you have:
  • At least two years of hands-on SEO experience or equivalent demonstrated work across technical audits, on-page optimization, analytics, and reporting.
  • Practical experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, and website CMS tools.
  • Working knowledge of crawlability, indexation, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots directives, schema, Core Web Vitals, and HTML/CSS fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and turn findings into clear recommendations and implementation requirements.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to produce accurate, source-backed website copy.
  • Strong organization, QA discipline, and judgment about change risk and escalation.
  • Preferred experience with Profound or other AI-search visibility platforms.
  • Preferred experience supporting website migrations, multi-location SEO, or dealership websites.
  • Preferred Automotive SEO or OEM-compliance experience.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, website vendors, and paid-media partners.
