How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor who excels in this role:
  • Provides nursing leadership for an assigned shift by supervising and mentoring staff, managing staffing levels based on patient needs and acuity, and ensuring safe, high-quality care.
  • Assists with direct patient care and problem-solving as needed, including taking patient assignments.
  • Supports staff with necessary equipment and resources and integrates evidence-based practices into clinical protocols.
  • Addresses patient care concerns, coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers, and contributes to performance improvement initiatives.
  • Conducts chart audits, supports staff development, and fulfills preceptor requirements. Collaborates with nursing leadership on reports, projects, and regulatory compliance
  • Serves as a resource in the use of the EMR system.

What we're looking for is a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor who is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence with these qualifications:
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS is required upon hire.
  • PALS is required within 3 months of employment.
  • One year of experience preferred

Schedule: 3x12/4x10/5x8 + Days (7a-7p)/ Nights(7p-7a) + rotating weekends/every 3rd weekend/every weekend + on call, holidays, etc. (i.e. 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), rotating weekends) Flexibility in scheduling may be required.
