ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • To supervise students in small groups or one on one.
  • Ensure safety of students.
  • Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and parents.
  • Maintain respect at all times for confidential information, e.g., student grades.
  • Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation.
  • Attend meetings and in-services as required.
  • Identify student needs, and cooperate with other staff in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to the students which will promote their welfare and their proper educational development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or designee.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid ODE Aide Permit.
  • Must be Highly Qualified or willing to obtain the qualification.
  • Successful Drug Screening.
  • BCI/FBI Background Checks.
