LabVantage LIMS Consultant / Developer

Introduction: We are seeking an experienced LabVantage LIMS Consultant/Developer to support implementation, enhancement, integration, and support activities for enterprise laboratory systems within regulated environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with LabVantage LIMS, laboratory workflows, system integrations, data migration, and compliance standards such as GxP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the LabVantage LIMS functional and technical SME throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and laboratory requirements
  • Design, develop, configure, and implement LabVantage LIMS solutions and enhancements
  • Create new modules, pages, workflows, and system configurations within LabVantage
  • Perform instrument integrations and develop parsing scripts for data ingestion
  • Implement and support ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) modules
  • Manage master data configurations and maintain system business rules and calculations
  • Develop and customize Jasper Reports for reporting and analytics needs
  • Support bug fixing, issue resolution, and production support activities
  • Participate in deployment, release management, and production rollout activities
  • Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, ERP, ELN, CDS, middleware, and instruments
  • Work with APIs and web services for system communication and integration
  • Support data migration planning, execution, and validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Quality, Validation, IT, and Lab Operations teams during implementation and support phases
  • Support training, go-live readiness, and post-implementation activities
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with LabVantage LIMS implementation, development, enhancement, or support
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows within Life Sciences, Pharma, or Biotech environments
  • Experience with LabVantage configuration, validation, and regulatory compliance
  • Hands-on experience with Java, SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server databases
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and middleware connectivity
  • Strong experience with data migration tools and migration strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Validation, IT, and Lab teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple LabVantage implementation or upgrade project experience
  • Experience integrating ERP, ELN, CDS, and laboratory instruments
  • Background in Quality Control or R&D laboratory operations
  • Experience in regulated environments including Pharma or Biotechnology industries
